Take a convenient and cost effective option of visiting Auschwitz combined with Krakow sightseeing.
First part – regular, second part – private. You will get to know the most beautiful among Polish cities – the Royal City of Krakow, and stand face to face with the tragic history of the Second World War by visiting Nazi concentration camps – Auschwitz-Birkenau. This is possible to see both places in one day, without any rush.
This combined tour is an ideal offer for those visitors who have only one spare day to go on tour while visiting Krakow and want to make the most of it. That is also a very good option for those who just want to see these two ‘must-visited’ sites on one day.
Our excellent English speaking driver will pick you up directly from your hotel and he will take a very good care of you throughout the whole day.
The tour starts with a visit of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp (ca. 1 hour 15 minutes drive from Krakow).
A guided tour in English at Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum is included in the total price. Our English speaking driver will take a very good care of you for all the time during the tour. You will arrive about half hour before your tour, as there’s about 20-25 minute time required for the security check. This applies to all types of Auschwitz tours. A driver will stay with you until you meet your local guide at the Museum and join your tour. After about two hours guided tour at Auschwitz I and a short break you will be taken to Auschwitz II-Birkenau where you will continue your guided visit for about an hour. After visiting a lunch break is certainly possible (optional, the price of lunch is not included in the total cost of the tour).
The second part of your trip is a guided tour of our magnificent City of Krakow. Our licensed city guide will make the history alive for you. Let our guide invite you to the former Royal Castle and Cathedral located on Wawel Hill and take you for a walk around the charming Old Town. Feel like a king while entering the town through the medieval St Florian’s Gate that has always been the main gateway leading to the city and walk down the ‘Royal Route’ to reach the Main Square. Delight with the largest of the European Main Market Square’s beauty, listen to the melody of the famous ‘Krakow trumpet call’ and buy traditional souvenirs at the oldest ‘shopping mall’ in Poland…
City tour with a guide lasts about 2 hours.
After the whole tour you will be dropped off back at your hotel or at any other place in Krakow – following your wish.
By taking this private tour by car you have a guarantee of being taken back and forth directly and in a full comfort. We do not do group transfers by large buses where people are sometimes driven around the city for one hour collecting other tourists before leaving Krakow.
