The Sanctuary of Divine Mercy looks like a boat from the outside. The beauty of the shrines’ interior helps you to focus your mind on the eternity. Admire its amazing modern altar, stain glass windows and wooden confessionals, all maintained in a magical style.


You will learn about the site consecrated by Pope John Paul II and visited by two consecutive Popes as well as by millions of pious pilgrims from around the world. You will step into the five lower level chapels located and to the Chapel of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.  

The red brick buildings next to the shrine are occupied by the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy Convent. You will step into the magnificent chapel of Saint Sister Faustina with the miraculous painting Jesus I trust in You. After a while for an earnest prayer you will be able to ascend the outside tower to admire the peacefulness of the surrounding area of Krakow.

Next stop on your trip will be the St. John Paul II’s Center located on the nearby hill, the Sanctuary and the Museum.

You will step into the grand newly built basilica and marvel at the most spectacular mosaics in the world. The lower level of the shrine has a central circular chapel and numerous gorgeous side chapels. The next door museum contains the garments  that St. John Paul II used to wear and a rich collection of papal gifts received during his pilgrimages around the world.
