Take our unique guided walking tour with some transfers made by car for your comfort. You will find out why Polish are so much keen on football and consider it as their national sport. You will learn about the successes and failures of Polish National Team across the 20th century – very diverse, from football fan’s point of view, which spectacular championships.

You will explore Krakow, the city where Polish football originated in 1906. Two teams were established: Wisla and Cracovia. To put it mildly, there is no love between them. Each time the teams play against one another – everyday life in the city takes on a new dimension. During the tour you will learn which team fortune favoured more over the decades of twentieth century up till now. You will hear stories about the “Holy War” between them, about successes and failures, about ceaseless competition during the times of Nazi occupation.

You will rediscover Krakow district – Nowa Huta, the “city without God” where football thrived under the communist regime. You will rediscover Nowa Huta district, as the place where its citizens didn’t enjoy much freedom (of speech and befiel in particular). What they could do for sure was play football. Communist regime’s gave in under the pressure of the inhabitants, Hutnik football team was established, and quickly gained immense popularity.
