We invite you to an unforgettable guided tour-pilgrimage in the footsteps of the Pope John Paul II in Krakow!

Kraków is a ‘papal city’ – the city of Saint John Paul II. Karol Wojtyła was born on 18th May 1920 in Wadowice – a small town located about 50 km from our city. In 1938 he arrived in Kraków together with his father. The will-be Pope was studying and working here. In 1946 he became a priest, then a great bishop and the Archbishop of Kraków. In 1978 he left Kraków for a memorable conclave to Rome…

The future Saint John Paul II lived in Kraków for fourty years and always used to say about it ‘my Krakow’.

We will pick you up directly from your hotel. During this tour our knowledgable licensed city guide will show you all the most important places related to Pope John Paul II in Kraków. You will see where Karol Wojtyła lived, worked and prayed. We will also show you many places which our Pope visited during his visits to the city. You will also see a newly built sanctuary devoted to our Pope – the Saint John Paul II Centre – where the Pope’s relics are placed. After the tour our driver will take you back to your hotel or to any point within the center of Krakow – following your wish.

You can extend the tour to a total duration of 6 hours. During the extended version of the tour we will take you to the nearby district of Nowa Huta – where there are also places closely related to John Paul II and to the Rakowicki Cemetery – where parents and brother of Pope John Paul II are buried. If you want to take this extended version – please state it when contacting us.

By taking this private tour by car you have a guarantee of being taken back and forth directly and in a full comfort. We don’t do group transfers by large buses where people are sometimes driven around the city for one hour collecting other tourists before leaving Krakow.

For all our tours and transfers we provide fully comfortable, air conditioned and spacious cars to be exclusively at your disposal. See our cars here. We are fully licensed for tour and transportation services. All our drivers speak very good English.

You are more than welcome to contact us in case of any enquiry. We will give you all additional information you need. We will fully organise your tour according to your requirements.
