Learn about the tragic time of WW II in Poland and visit two sites that witnessed its tragedy. As Warsaw was destroyed in 85%, it is full of national memorials which remind us what happened here only 70 years ago…
A tour includes visiting of the most important historical sites in Warsaw such as the Old Town, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Jewish Ghetto. One of the crucial points is also a private guided tour of the Warsaw Uprising Museum – one of the most interesting, modern and most famous exhibitions in Poland.
If you wish, this tour can be also extended by visiting the modern Museum of the History of Polish Jews – POLIN. If you would like to add this item to your tour program, please state it when contacting us (additional charge and reservation apply).
A second item of this tour is a visit to the Museum established at the site of the former concentration camp of Treblinka, situated about 1,5 hour drive north-east of Warsaw. This is where thousands of Jews from the Warsaw Ghetto as well as all over Poland and other countries were transported. Our licensed guide will introduce you to the tragic history of the site – one of many labour, concentration and extermination camps established by the Nazi Germans in Poland.
