EXCELLENTVerified Amazing day with a great guide and locations This was such a well organised tour and Tomasz is a great guide. Super friendly and knowledgeable, and made a real effort to pamper us for the day. The locations are all well chosen and interesting along with Tomasz’s local knowledge. The funicular ride in Zakopane took us to amazing views with plenty to do, and good food and wine,The sleigh ride and bonfire were the highlight with great local food. It was my wife’s 50th and they brought out unexpected cake which was going above and beyond. The highlander tea (with a kick) is a must. The only small complaint was the sleigh ride driver being on his phone for some of the ride which detracted from the serenity of the experience. We learnt so many things talking to him during the drive and it added a lot to our experience and understanding of Krakow, Poland and Auschwitz - Birkenau.Highly recommended both as a driver and as a guide!Verified Fantastic end to end experience over five days My wife and I topped and tailed our visit to Krakow through Prime Tours by using their Airport Travel Service. Having researched timings to and from the airport , the location of our Hotel in relation to the train station, it was a no brainer to spend 150 ZLT ( £31) on the transfers. It took around 20/25 minutes to get to the Hyatt Place and gave us an extra 3 hours each day in the city which meant we also spent more in the local economy on meals etc. The transport on both occasions was an immaculate Mercedes People Carrier and the driver was superb ( sorry I forgot your name) who picked us up at arrivals and set us down at departures. From arrival to departure Rafal and the Prime Tours Team have been superb with first class communication throughout. A point to note is that they are fully licensed tour company (License No. Z/48/2013) and transportation (License No. 0052210) . As I mentioned in other reviews my wife researched the s**t out of themVerified How did we fit it all in? Joanna took us on a wonderful bespoke tour over two days. The second was a Private Walking Tour with Schindler's Factory for which she stood in line for the tickets in advance of our arrival. We took most of it in but I would recommend watching some of the films which cover the history of Krakow such as Schindler's List and The Pianist (many others too) as she is a bit of a film buff and the references were lost on my wife.We could not have covered half the area or seen half the sights without her informally presented local knowledge. A week later I am only just remembering much of the details of our visit. We did follow up some of the areas we visited on our last day.Our only slight criticism is that even after more than two hours in Oscar Schindler's Enamel Factory my wife felt that she needed to know more about everything. She refuses to watch war films on the topic and likes the minutia of the detail.Without Joanna we would not have even got in so we will be forever grateful.Her tour of the Dragon's Den and Wawel Castle set us up for our final free day of sightseeingVerified Aa wonderful bespoke private tour Joanna took us on a wonderful bespoke tour over two days. A week later I am only just remembering much of the details of our visitVerified Auschwitz Study Tour (private transport + guided group tour in English with Guaranteed tickets) I left it late with my booking but Prime Tours booked me an Auschwitz Study Tour (private transport + guided group tour in English with Guaranteed tickets) for myself and my wife . We also booked a further two tours with them. Thomas, our driver picked us up at the Hyatt Place Hotel at 7.30 am in a Mercedes E Class and had us at Auschwitz at around 9.00 am. His English was good and the conversation flowed freely on both journeys. No queuing as Thomas went in and collected the pre -booked tickets. When the first part of the Tour was over, again Thomas made sure we got on the bus to Birkenau and was waiting for us there for the return drive. We paid 1600 ZLT or £325 and it was worth it for the convenience alone. Our Tour was on the 25th September and the weather wasn't great so the comfort of a warm private transfer after a seven hour walking tour was worth its weight in gold. We used Prime Tours to collect us from the Airport and take us back too and this really maximised our time in Krakow. Seeing some of the horror stories on here my wife researched the s**t out of the available tour operators and their licences. We had been to Berlin In May and had booked through a well known website rather than direct- big mistake as they were offering tours that were not available. On the Front Tours, the tour operator in Berlin went above and beyond to rectify mistakes which were not of their making and come highly recommended. Sometimes its worth paying the extra and avoiding unnecessary stress.I cannot recommend Prime Tours highly enough and their boss, Rafal for the excellent communication throughout and putting together a thoroughly enjoyable week at relatively short noticeVerified Wonderful experience It was an amazing experience especially if you book the tour in the evening when it's sunset to sundown.Highly recommend doing itVerified Worth every penny!
