Try out our one day trip to the charming, picturesquely settled town of Przemysl, the place with a long and rich history. It is located near the Ukrainian  border.

You will see the famous castle on the hill, towering over the city, together with the impressive military fortresses from the First World War. Salis Soglio Fort at the Ukrainian border is surely, one of the most recommended sites to visit. 

Later on,  you will go down the surrounding hills, and head towards the unique, sloping Main Market Square in the town centre. You will stop to see the Greek-Catholic Archcathedral. The Franciscan Church with the impressive rococo interior, and the number of frescoes and sculptures would be your next site to explore. The last, but not least, place to visit will be an underground area, beneath The Tower Clock and housing estates on the Main Market Square. 

For lunch, you will try unique dishes of eastern Polish Borderlands, a subtle blend of Polish,Ukrainian and local specialties.

After the energizing meal, you will be taken to the town suburbs again, to climb up the Zniesienie Hill, which as the legend has it, was built by the Tartars as the mound of Khan who was killed in the battle here.

The optional city attractions to visit would be the Museum of Pipes and the Museum of Bells.

You may also extend this tour with one of the renaissance castles: Krasiczyn and Łańcut. We can take you there on your way back to Krakow.
