DAY 1

Arrival in Krakow – Krakow Old Town

Welcome to One of Europe’s Most Charming Cities Upon arrival, greeted by your driver, you will be comfortably taken to the hotel. Meet our excellent guide in the afternoon for a fascinating city walk to explore the beauty and charm of Krakow’s Old Town. Walking down the former Royal Route, passing dozens of medieval townhouses and churches you will reach the Wawel Hill – a dignified former residence of Polish kings with the Royal Castle and Cathedral. Your expert guide will offer interesting information about Krakow, as well as recommend restaurants and shops to visit during your stay. In the evening you will enjoy wonderful Chopin concert followed by dinner at the traditional Polish restaurant.

DAY 2

Auschwitz-Birkenau – Wieliczka Salt Mine

Honor Holocaust Victims and Explore an Underground Salt Mine Today you will journey to the AuschwitzBirkenau Memorial to remember the victims of the Holocaust. It was the largest of the Nazi German concentration camps, the place of terror and the symbol of Holocaust. Later, you will visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine, situated just outside Krakow. Here, you can explore a series of underground salt chambers, corridors, and spacious chapels. A local guide will lead you along this labyrinth of astonishing passages, where you can admire sculptures carved by miners who have worked here since the 13th century.

DAY 3

Old Jewish District – Schindler’s Factory – Krakow Ghetto – Płaszów Concentration Camp

The City Marked With WW2 On this day you will follow the Remembrance Route and visit most important sites related to WW2 history in Krakow. You will start visiting with the Old Jewish District in Kazimierz. Visit to the former ghetto, established by the Nazi Germans in 1941, will be the next item of this tour. Here you will see the famous ghetto Pharmacy’s bui lding that houses an exhibition devoted to the history of the site. You will also visit the former Oskar Schindler’s Factory with the ‘Krakow under Nazi Occupation 1939-1945′ exhibition that presents wartime history in a very modern and accessible manner. You will also pay homage at the Krakow – Plaszow concentration camp. At the end a guide will show you the former prison by Gestapo.

Zakopane – Dunajec River Gorge

Relax In Krakow’s Spectacular Natural Surroundings Today is all about adventure. You will spend an exciting day in Zakopane – Poland’s most celebrated mountain resort, located at the foot of the Tatra mountains. The Pieniny National Park is a beautiful natural area untouched by civilization. This spectacular region is also home to the extraordinary Dunajec River Gorge where rushing river waters careen through limestone mountains creating incredible rock formations. Here, you will embark on a relaxing two-hour rafting excursion on a traditional, wooden raft. En route you will visit one of Poland’s most reno w ned landmar k s – S t M ichael Archangel’s Church in the charming village of Debno.

DAY 5

Tyniec Abbey – Kosciuszko Mound Krakow – Off The Beaten Track

On the final day of your five-day Krakow tour, you will visit the famous Kosciuszko Mound, which offers spectacular views of the surrounding region, including the ruins of a historic fortress. This significant historical site was constructed in memory of Poland’s national hero – Tadeusz Kosciuszko. You can learn about the beloved military leader during a visit to a museum devoted to his life and work. Your day also includes a visit to the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec, which is located on a hill overlooking the Vistula River. At the historic abbey, you can hear the monk’s stories about life in the monastery, which goes back to the 11th century.

At the end of this memorable day, you will be transferred to the airport in time to board your onward flight.
