Private Tour with an Audio-Guide
See and feel the charm of the most beautiful among Polish cities – the Royal City of Krakow. Stand face to face with the tragic history of the Second World War and visit the largest of the former Nazi concentration camps – Auschwitz-Birkenau. This is possible to see both places in one day, without any rush.
This combined tour is an ideal offer for those visitors who are coming to Krakow for one day and want to make the most of it. This is a very good option for those who want to see these two ‘must-visited’ sites on one day.
Our excellent English speaking driver will pick you up directly from the Krakow Railway Station and he will take a very good care of you throughout the whole day. A driver always awaits you holding a banner with your name printed so you will find each other without any problems in this way.
The tour starts with a visit of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp (ca. 1 hour drive from Krakow).
A guided tour in English at Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum is included in the total price. Our English speaking driver will take a very good care of you for all the time during the tour. You will enter through a fast track entrance at Auschwitz so you avoid regular crowds in the ticket hall. A driver will stay with you until you meet your local guide at the Museum and join your tour. After about two hours guided tour at Auschwitz I and a short break you will be taken to Auschwitz II-Birkenau where you will continue your guided visit for about an hour. After visiting a lunch break is certainly possible (optional, the price of lunch is not included in the total cost of the tour).
The second part of your trip is a tour of the magnificent City of Krakow which you will make by a comfortable electric car with a driver (very similar to a golf cart). This city tour lasts about 1.5 hours. You can admire Krakow seating comfortably on a car and listening to a pre-recorded commentary in English, providing the basic information on the sites passed.
This type of a tour is recommended for those visitors who want to see Krakow without a necessity to walk or simply those who want to visit the city in a different way. This is a convenient and practical way of visiting as you can see all the most interesting sites of Krakow in a quite short time, without rush. We will take you on an unforgettable tour around our beautiful city. You will see the former medieval City Walls with the Barbican and St Florian’s Gate. Listening to the unique sound of the famous Krakow’s trumpet call you will be admiring the Main Market Square with the Cloth Hall and a majestic, twin-spired St Mary’s Church. Going down the former Royal Route, passing dozens of medieval townhouses and churches you will reach the Wawel Hill – the former residence of Polish kings with the Royal Castle and the Cathedral. You will also visit the Old Jewish District in Kazimierz, the site of the former Jewish Ghetto established by the Nazis during WW II as well as an original building of the former Oscar Schindler’s Factory.
After the whole trip you will have some free time for buying souvenirs and simply enjoying your visit to the most beautiful among Polish cities.
After returning to Krakow our driver can take you directly to the train station or to any other place within the center (if you wish to have some time for dinner/lunch/shopping etc.).
